What is cashback?

Craig Mitchell - Customer AdvisorWith Christmas creeping up on us once more there has never been a better time to look for the best cash back deal from e2save.com.

There are two types of cash back deal on offer. The first is automatic cash back and the second is cash back by redemption. One is much easier than the other to claim but one will earn you more cash. Hopefully this blog will explain why and we can help you find the best cash back deal for you.

Automatic Cash back

This process is very simple. Just call the sales team and choose your deal. Wait around 28 days for your cheque to arrive then take it to your bank. Easy as that!

Remember to get your order in with e2save before the 10th November to make sure you have your cheque before you go Christmas shopping! Automatic cash back, due to the speed in which you receive the entire amount could be the best cash back option for you. However before you make your mind up make sure you check out cash back by redemption.

Cash  back by redemption

Cash back by redemption is a little more complicated than its alternative however you will, for the majority of contracts receive more money via this process. If you’re after the largest sum available then we think that this option is the best cash back deal you could go for.

If you have an 18 or 24 month contract you have to send in your month 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 bills. These bills will then be processed and your cheque will be sent out. You can find which bills to send by logging onto the “Your Account” section of the e2save website. Just enter your order ID number and either your e-mail address or mobile number. Follow the links and you can find out lots of information about your account.

When sending your cash back claim, it’s always best to check that you have included all of the correct information on your bill. For a successful claim your bill should contain:

  • Your full name
  • Your full address
  • Your postcode
  • Your mobile number
  • Your tariff  information
  • The correct date on the bill
  • No outstanding payments from previous months

You have exactly 60 days, from the date of the bill to send in your claim. This is very strict and not negotiable. You must also only enclose one bill per envelope. It can’t be guaranteed that any more than one cash back claim per envelope will be processed.
Bills must be sent to: Cashback Claims, ADM4118, Loughborough, LE11 1XH

It is always advised to send your bills via Royal Mail recorded delivery. This means the letters can be tracked if e2save don’t receive them! It will always be your responsibility to check your cashback has been processed.

Still undecided?

To summarise, instant cashback is much quicker and easier to claim than cashback by redemption but cashback by redemption will usually earn you more money over time. Hopefully our explanation of the types of deal available will help you choose the very best cash back package for you.
