It wasn’t too long ago that we were shouting about the Samsung Galaxy S2 selling over one million units and it now seems that they’ve outdone themselves again by reaching the three million mark, which incidentally marks the Samsung Galaxy S2 as Samsung’s fastest ever selling smartphone.
Samsung have reached this monumental achievement in just 55 days which really is a testament to how good the phone is and how well it has performed. It’s matched up to the top end smartphones in the market and stood it’s ground against the iPhone 4.
From day one we fell in love with the Samsung Galaxy S2, with its stunning Super AMOLED display, super speedy dual core processor and super slim design.
As well as many coming out claiming that this is the best Android smartphone yet, more importantly others are saying that it could be the best smartphone, period.
Of course we aren’t one to comment on such radical claims but it certainly puts in to perspective how well the Samsung Galaxy S range has been received and from using it ourselves we can comfortably vouch for the incredible user experience and design build. Samsung have come on leaps and bounds over the last couple of years and the Galaxy range is truly an inspiring set of mobile phone quality for others to take note.
At this rate Samsung are selling a Samsung Galaxy S2 every two seconds which is a phenomenal statistic and we can’t wait to see the next phone that will begin to rival this. However, with reports today of Apple placing an order for 15 million units of their next-gen smartphone (the Apple ‘iPhone 5’) we’re guessing we won’t have to wait too long.
