Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 review

Matt, the presenter of our YouTube channel e2vids, was very lucky this week and was able to get his hand on Samsung’s upcoming tablet release to produce this Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 review.  Here’s what he had to say on this delightful new tablet :-

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the thinnest and lightest large screen tablet in the market and before I even switched it on, I couldn’t help but admire the style, design and general aesthetics of the tablet.  It comes in at just 565 grams and only 8.6mm thick and of course it is the 10.1 inch with 1280 x 800 WXGA touchscreen display that takes the centre stage.  The touchscreen on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 rocks a pixel density of 149ppi (pixel per inch) which is in fact higher than that of the iPad 2.  If you want to get closer to this lovely tablet, then feel free to watch the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 review above.

When it comes to operating system and user interface, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is an absolute delight to use.  Running Android 3.1 Honeycomb with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI integrated, you can easily multi-task, customise and do some much more with your tablet experience.  Everything is just so fluid and fast, even simple little elements like opening up a notepad or calendar app whilst watching a video on YouTube.  Let’s not forget that there are now well over 300,000 apps available on the Android market, providing you with portable entertainment and multimedia wherever you may be.
