For all you fashionistas out there I have looked into the best apps for fashion and shopping so that you can splurge out on a new outfit, or just casually browse around at the latest fashion (if you can control yourself). There are apps for shopping, apps for helping you choose your outfit, save money and much more. Read on for my fashion app recommendations.
A popular website for those eagerly fashionable people is Style.com; the free app for the iPhone is just as popular. It allows you to see all the latest news and photos of fashion shows all over the world. With videos from the catwalk, reviews and photos of the latest fashion all in one place, this app is a must have for keeping up to date with the fashion world. It’s really easy to use as you can just scroll through the list of designers and the photos from the latest fashion show.
An iPhone app known as Stylebook is great if you’re having trouble choosing which outfit to wear, as it lets you photograph and organise your clothing by category. It’s so much fun because you can then collage the images of your different items and create outfits. Better still, the app includes a calendar that tracks when you wore an outfit and helps you plan outfits for the future. So you won’t be wearing the same outfit twice in one week. A great app that comes at a small cost of £2.56.
There are even apps for hair style advice! 2 Minute Up-Dos gives you advice from a top stylist on how to keep your hair looking great in minutes. A perfect example of how your phone is just as useful as a hairbrush and hairspray. And it’s free!
Elle Collections have a free app that combines the best content from the well known Elle magazine with excellent quality photos of the trendiest lines from the catwalk.
Although it takes a while to load, it’s definitely worth it, as you get great images and up to date fashion news.
Some apps let you shop directly from your phone, without having to go directly to the site. Next have a fantastic free app that lets you shop from your iPhone and lets you search for items by size and still gives detailed information on items, like the length, material etc. Definitely a well recommended app for fashion centric males and females alike.
Are you a fan of H&M? Appealing to both men and women, this app is great for keeping up to date with the latest additions to the shop. Being very easy to use and navigate your way around, you can sit for hours and browse through the clothes and accessories on offer and pick out what you like. Great for keeping your feet rested and your credit card still active.
Debenhams have an app that is available for both iPhone and Android users. The app lets you see the full range of Debenhams products while being very easy to browse the categories. You can shop by your size and see the product details clearly.
The All Saints app for iPhone is great for browsing the clothing and accessories on offer in the store. Other features include letting you create a wish list and keeping you updated on new arrivals to the store by automatically downloading the latest content. Very convenient as it updates itself for you, so all you have to do is browse, click and buy.
Although we always like to treat ourselves, there’s nothing wrong with apps that save you money. The well trusted auction website, eBay, have their own app which is easy to use. You can put bids on items and watch items to ensure you get the best deal, whilst picking up great bargains on clothes and accessories.
The barcode scanning ShopSavvy app for Android is great because it shows you online prices and offers at local stores for the item you scanned in. You can then make sure you’re getting the best deal before you buy. What more can you ask for?
The local voucher offering company Groupon also have a great app where you can view the daily voucher deal in your city. Vouchers sometimes include money towards designer clothing and accessories. After downloading the app you can purchase vouchers from your phone and view deals in other cities too. With a different voucher deal everyday, you are always pleasantly surprised with what Groupon can bring you.
