But this App is even better, as you can select some left-over ingredients you have in your fridge from a list of ‘Staple ingredients’ and the App presents you with a recipe using those ingredients. It’s great because you don’t have to waste left over items and helps you save money – win win!

For iPhone users, there are many Apps for students, so here’s our recommendations. The Mental Note Lite App lets you make a note of anything you think of. This can be useful if you get some inspiration for your essays whilst on the go, but it’s also useful if you want to make a note of something in a lecture.
