Blackberry 9900 Bold video review

Our BlackBerry Bold 9900 video review shows off the thinnest BlackBerry so far, which comes running their latest operating system ‘BlackBerry 7 OS’.  This fantastic new operating system brings with it improved internet browsing speeds, advanced security features and gorgeous liquid graphics.  It’s also the first BlackBerry smartphone to feature both a touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard and this hybrid style device, with the best of both worlds, really impressed us.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 has an impressive 1.2Ghz processor on board, which allows for easy recording in 720p HD on the 5.0 megapixel camera. It also helps keep all the 9900’s features running smoothly and can comfortably multitask.  It really is a powerhouse of a smartphone and will allow you to do so much more at once, without experiencing lag or slowdown.

Security is absolutely key on the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and one feature which we thought was absolutely fantastic was BlackBerry Protect.  BlackBerry Protect includes several different extremely helpful tools such as the ability to track your BlackBerry 9900 if you suspect it is lost or remotely wipe all data (including on the memory card) if you suspect that it is stolen.  If you have misplaced your new BlackBerry Bold in the house somewhere, you can (via a remote application) make the phone emit a loud ring, even when on silent, making finding your phone super simple.
