Excellent processing performance
The Pixel 6a greatly impresses with its processing performance, loading apps and games in seconds. This is possible by sharing the same Tensor chip as the mid-range Pixel 6 and premium Pixel 6 Pro. Google’s decision to share the same chipset across the Pixel 6 range means the 6a only has to make cuts in areas that have a minimal impact on performance, making it both powerful and affordable.

The new dynamic colour feature, Material You, automatically changes the primary and accent colours of your phone’s user interface (UI) based on your wallpaper. It’s a simple feature, but it makes an already beautiful UI even cleaner to use.
There are also new accessibility features that make the Pixel 6a easier to use for disabled users. Area magnification enhances the readability of a section of the screen without blurring the rest of the display. There is also ‘Extra Dim’, which allows the user to reduce the screen brightness lower than the phone’s default minimum.
