But it’s not just quality, HTC also reinforce their strength to dish out high quality smartphones in a series of quantities – something that not many smart phone manufacturers are able to do in quick succession. The HTC One series range of mobile phones is another feather to the company’s cap. Perfect as contract phones, let’s dive into the specifications of these four high end mobile phones, The HTC One X, S, V and XL.

Display and Operating System

There are quite a number of similar features across the HTC One series. Firstly, they all run on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 operating system. Android has been a smart addition to the HTC mobile phones and HTC looks to keep it that way for now. Both, the One X and the One XL have a 4.7 inch touch display for superior usability and enhanced browsing experience. The super LCD 2 touch screens on both these mobile phones showcase a vivid flow of colors that provide an enriching experience to every user. The display on the One S is slightly smaller compared to the One X and the One XL. The One S features a 4.3 inch display. The One V on the other hand comes with a 3.7 inch display, that’s a whole inch less than the One X and the XL. One distinctive feature about the display on the HTC One S is that it is a Super AMOLED display instead of the LCD 2 display on the other three smartphones.

Processor & RAM

Both the HTC One XL and the HTC One S come with a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor that is a quality processor to run a smart phone on. The One V features a 1 GHz single core Snapdragon S2 processor. The One X certainly takes the cake in term of the processor. Featuring a 1.5GHz quad core Tegra 3 processor, the HTC One X can run some pretty heavy applications without strain or sweat.

RAM & Camera

Except for the One X, One XL and One S, all three of which come with a 1GB RAM, the One V is the only phone in the One series that features a 512MB RAM. Even the camera in the One V is different compared to the camera in the other One series mobile phones. The One V features a 5.0 megapixel camera whereas the One X, One Xl and One S feature an 8.0 megapixel camera. The One X and One XL come with a 1.3 megapixel forward facing camera, the One S comes with a front VGA camera and the One V features just a single camera at the back. The cool thing about the One series mobile phones is that HTC allows you to click pictures while recording a video – something that the mobile giant calls video pic. With HTC ImageSense built in, your photos are enhanced further, meaning the One series helps you take great photos regardless of the conditions you face.

Memory

The memory is a real power booster to the One series mobile phones. The One XL and One S come with 16 GB of internal memory while the One X comes with 32 GB of internal storage for you to use. These three phones lack expandable memory – With a year’s free usage of a 25GB cloud storage account, we doubt you’d actually need it! The One V on the other hand is equipped with 4 GB of internal memory which can be expanded with a micro SD card. Truly marvelous, take a bow HTC!
