HTC sales have increased by 83%

July 2011 has been a great month for HTC with sales reaching £957 million. This is HTC’s highest ever monthly sales results. In comparison to July 2010 HTC sales have increased by 83% which is amazing. The increasingly popular and well respected Android line up of HTC handsets is showing to be ever so popular with sales soaring high.

HTC have also expanded their choice of products over the last year, which could be another reason for their success during this time. With new Windows Phone 7 handsets like the HTC 7 Pro and the new tablet, known as the HTC Flyer, it is not surprising that the company are doing very well.

HTC have also announced that it will be acquiring Dashwire, which is a mobile web services platform. HTC will be using Dashwire’s expertise to aid its cloud services, as well as helping to strengthen its patent portfolio. HTC will use the technology from Dashwire for cloud sync and device set up. This allows users to access their important content wherever they are on any device, which is highly convenient. Despite all of the recent patent battles, more recently with Apple, HTC have also announced that they will be launching some more new phones this year. Judging by their recent success we are looking forward to seeing what other exciting handsets they introduce.
