Westworld - The New World

Catch it on: Now TV

Now entering its third season, Westworld is one of HBO's most popular shows. With the last season airing mid-2018, fans have had to wait quite a while for the next instalment of this hit sci-fi/western series which will debut in 2020.

Created by Jonathon Nolan (co-writer of The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises) and American screenwriter Lisa Joy, the first season of Westworld introduced viewers to Delos Inc - a company that own six futuristic theme parks, one of which is Westworld.

Inside Westworld guests will find hosts, which are androids disguised as humans, designed to fulfil the desires of visitors. Over the first two seasons, the show has explored themes of free will, humanity and technology, and as each episode unfolds, viewers will begin to question if humans and androids are really different at all.

There's so much to Westworld that watching the first two seasons is a must. If you need to catch up before season 3 is released, there's still plenty of time - you can find on Now TV with an Entertainment Pass (which costs £7.99 a month).

Hunters

Catch it on: Amazon Prime

Starring Al Pacino, Logan Lerman, Carol Kane and Saul Rubinek, there's a lot of hype circulating around Hunters. It's produced by Jordan Peele - the director of the gripping Get Out and Us - and scheduled to premiere as an Amazon Original on Amazon Prime Video in early 2020. Set during 1977 in New York, Hunters follows Meyer Offerman (played by Al Pacino) and his diverse group of followers.

Every group member shares the same goal - locate and take down the high-ranking Nazi officials that are currently living in New York, and prevent them from creating the Fourth Reich in America.

Fast-paced and action-packed, Hunters is sure to have you on the edge of your seat. It's everything you'd expect from Al Pacino, so don't forget to sign up for Amazon Prime Video, if you want to watch it.

Katy Keene

Catch it on: TBC, rumoured to be Netflix.

Fans of Riverdale are sure to love Katy Keene, the latest from the Archie Comics universe. This comedy-drama follows four main characters living in New York, including Katy Keene who's an aspiring fashion designer and Josie McCoy (first seen in Riverdale) who's trying to make it as a singer.

A Riverdale spin-off, just like The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Katy Keene is likely to be available on Netflix for UK viewers - although nothing has been confirmed yet. Much more vibrant and light-hearted than the two shows just mentioned, Katy Keene is set to be a feel-good series focusing on aspirations - it's one fans of shows like Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars will definitely enjoy.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Catch it on: Disney+

A Disney+ exclusive, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is undoubtedly going to be a hit with Marvel fans. Anyone who's watched Captain America will recognise the two main characters in this series: Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier, and Sam Wilson aka the Falcon.

The Falcon is played by Anthony Mackie, and the Winter Soldier by Sebastian Stan, and both starred in the Captain America films. The plot of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is still being kept secret, but we do know that it'll be set after Avengers: Endgame.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is expected to land in Autumn 2020. Subscriptions to Disney+ will be available from 31st March 2020.

Nine Perfect Strangers

Catch it on: Hulu

After the success of Big Little Lies, it's no surprise Hulu has jumped on board another of Liane Moriarty's best-sellers: Nine Perfect Strangers. The novel was released in 2018, and spent 13 weeks on the New York Times best-seller list. Currently in the process of being adapted for our screens, Nine Perfect Strangers is rumoured to be released in late 2020, and the screenplay will be written by David E. Kelley who worked on Big Little Lies, as well as John Henry Butterworth.

Nicole Kidman will play Masha, the antagonist of the story who owns a health and wellness resort - which is where the story is set. Nine strangers arrive, all of which have joined a special 10-day wellness programme at the resort, and slowly get to know each other while sharing their problems. However, things don't seem quite right here, and they begin to question Masha's unusual methods.

You'll find Nine Perfect Strangers on Hulu - which costs just £3.99 a month via Now TV.
