In true Nokia style, the tech giants have launched a new handset that’s simple, robust, and lasts almost forever. This model might look more like a noughties phone rather than something from 2015, but as an entry level handset, the Nokia 215 offers everything a mobile newbie could ever want- and more!
Design
Despite the Nokia 215 being a super budget handset, the phone features a colourful, fun design, just like the range of Lumia smartphones on the market. It has a smooth, rectangular body, a 2.4-inch screen and physical rubber buttons to make it easier than ever to send messages, make calls and play games.
What makes the Nokia 215 different from Nokia’s old range of feature phones is that it sports a full colour screen, making the handset look more like a smartphone than a typical ‘dumb’ phone. So if you’re fashion conscious and need an accessory to match your style, the Nokia 215 which can be picked up in black, white and a vibrant green, could be right up your alley.

Nokia 215 Battery Life
If there’s one thing that you need to know about the Nokia 215 it’s that it’s got a super long lasting battery life that puts any of the latest smartphones to shame.
As with the good old Nokia 3210 (which we all still claim to be the best phone ever!) the Nokia 215’s battery can last for up to 29 days on standby. This number will obviously dwindle the more you use the phone, but without a power-hungry processor and larger than life screen, the Nokia 215 is sure to last you through the week- and then some more- on a single charge!

Apps, Facebook and the web!
And if you thought that this budget Nokia phone was as featureless as most basic handsets, you’d be very wrong.
Not only does the 215 offer a selection of games, a torch and a 0.3 megapixel camera, but it also comes with a number of apps, including Facebook messenger, pre-downloaded and is even set up ready for you to browse the web. If you’re a music fanatic there’s plenty for you on the 215 too, with a built-in FM radio and MP3 player being added to the handset’s list of features.
So while the Nokia 215 might not be considered a smartphone, there are tonnes of features which make sure that it’s certainly not a dumb one either…

If you weren’t blown away by the Nokia 215’s incredible 29 day battery or wealth of internet-enabled features, you definitely will be by the phone’s price tag. Aimed at emerging markets or those in need of a first time or even spare phone, the Nokia 215 can be picked up for a measly $29- that’s less than £20! Now we’ve heard of cheap Nokia phones, but this is something we’ve never seen before!
