From its quad-lens camera to its 6.5-inch edge-to edge-display, the impressive Oppo Reno2 Z has a lot to offer.
Discover its top five features below.
1 - 6.5-inch edge-to-edge display
You'll benefit from a bigger screen without having to put up with a bulky handset thanks to the Oppo Reno2 Z's 91% screen-to-body ratio. The huge 6.5-inch AMOLED display is set to deliver an immersive viewing experience, and with the front nearly all screen.
The pop-up front-facing camera is activated when you turn on the camera and comes out of the top of the device, while a hidden fingerprint scanner is embedded into the bottom of the screen to unlock the device safely and securely.
And you don’t need to worry about damaging the pop-up camera, it intelligently senses when your phone is dropped and automatically retracts to avoid any damage. The phone is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating, shielding the phone from any damage caused by drops and bumps.
2 - 48MP Quad-lens Camera
The quad-lens rear camera is comprised of a 48MP Ultra-clear Main Camera, 8MP Wide Angle Lens, 2MP Mono Lens, and a 2MP Portrait Lens, for clear, detailed and professional-looking photos.
Upgraded Portrait Mode 2.0 automatically adds a professional touch to your photos, for that desired bokeh effect. You can now adjust the level of background blur you see in your photos too and take portrait shots in monochrome and retro styles for the first time. Plus, the OppoReno2 Z is the world’s first pop-up camera with bokeh effect video.
HDR Portrait Mode is another new addition to the device. This feature uses HDR to reduce brightness in lit up areas, and increase brightness in dark scenarios, for excellent photos no matter the shooting condition.
All-new AI Beauty Mode now comes with smart skin tone recognition, which works to adjust your skin tone to the light conditions surrounding it, making sure you always look your best. Skin analysis and smoothing is also now supported for up to four people per photo.
There's also dazzle mode which automatically changes a photo’s brightness and colour to suit the surroundings, and EIS image stabilisation technology which eliminates any blur in your photos.
3 - Ultra Dark Mode
Perhaps the most exciting new camera feature on the Oppo Reno2 Z is Ultra Dark Mode, which makes it easier than ever before to take photos in low-light conditions. You can now take photos in the dark with a stunning new level of clarity, illuminating the completely bringing both the background and the subject of the photo to deliver outstanding results.
With the help of AI, when your phone is in Night Mode, the Ultra Dark camera feature will be automatically activated, so you won’t need to switch it on when trying to take a photo late at night.
4 - 4,000 mAh Battery
Oppo Reno2 Z comes equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery, meaning the device will comfortably see you through the day without needing to charge back up. In fact, you can expect up to 13 hours of power with everyday use, and around 8 hours if you’re using more demanding apps, playing games or streaming videos.
When the time comes to recharge your device, fast-charging VOOC 3.0 technology will boost your battery to 50% in as little as 30 minutes.
5 - ColorOS 6.1
ColorOS 6.1 is Oppo’s very own operating system, which is automatically installed, overlaying Android Pie.
ColorOS 6.1 arrives with a number of exciting features, such as Smart Riding Mode, Swipe-Up Gesture Navigation and Smart Assistant, all helping to enhance your everyday phone use.
