What is McAfee Privacy & Identity Guard?

McAfee Privacy & Identity Guard helps you take back control of your personal data and minimise the risk of identity theft.

To help you take charge, it will:

  • Send you early alerts if your data is found on the dark web.
  • Take steps on your behalf (or give you the steps) to protect your data.
  • Find old or unused accounts and provide their risk levels, which you can then decide to keep or delete.
  • Find data brokers or people search sites that have your info. It then requests removal or provides steps for you to take.
  • Show you how safe you are online with a personal McAfee Protection Score.

How do I get access to this free trial?

You’ll receive an email from us, around 12-17 days following your order, containing info about the product and details on how to sign up. Just click on the Find out more button in the email and follow the steps to redeem the offer.

How long is the trial for?

The free trial is valid for 90 days.

Do I have to give my card details to sign up to the trial?

Yes. To accept the free trial, you’ll need to provide McAfee with either your bank account or PayPal details. However, no payment will be taken until the free trial ends.

Can I turn auto-renewal off?
