Can I upgrade with

Yes. If you are an existing EE customer you can upgrade with even if you didn't get your contract with us originally.

How does upgrading with work?

If you are looking to move to a different deal with EE then simply browse through our range of upgrade deals and choose the one that is right for you and we'll take care of the rest. Because you are upgrading you'll be remaining on the same network meaning it's easy to keep your same number.

What if I want to keep my current phone?

If you are happy with your current handset but still want a different deal you might want to upgrade to a sim only plan. Find out more about our EE SIM only deals.

Will I get a new SIM card when I upgrade?

If you want a new phone as part of your upgrade, keeping you existing SIM card depends on whether or not it will fit in your new handset. As an existing EE customer we will send you a new multi-SIM if one is required. These SIMs can be easily adapted to match all popular SIM sizes used in the likes of Samsungs, iPhones and other leading handsets.

Can I upgrade from a SIM Only plan to a contract with a new phone or vice versa?

The term 'upgrade' may be misleading - really it just means extending the relationship you have with your existing network beyond your current term or contract. If you got your existing contract with a new phone but are still happy with your handset and want a EE SIM only plan, then you can 'upgrade' to SIM only. If you want to move from SIM only to a contract with a new phone that's fine too.

When can I upgrade with EE?

It's best to login to your 'My EE' account on the EE website or text 'UP' to 150 which will inform you of your upgrade status. Typically if you have less than 45 days before the end of your current phone contract renewal you should be eligible for an upgrade.

Can I upgrade my phone early on EE?

If you are a SIM only customer on a 12, 18 or 24 month contract or have had your current contract for more than 6 months but it is less than 45 days until the end of your contract you may be eligible for an early upgrade however this will incur and early upgrade fee. It is advisable you check online in your 'My EE' account or call EE on 150 to confirm this.
